While Rosie Huntington Whiteley's approach to diet and fitness is fairly strict and thorough, her approach to beauty could not be more relaxed.

While it's hard to believe such a flawless complexion isn't aided by products in their dozens, the model calls on a streamlined selection of product to get herself made up and out the door in record time.

Focusing on clarifying, bronzing and illuminating her skin, the newly-minted beauty editor has got her daily makeup routine down pat, highlighting her best assets with the few products she trusts wholeheartedly.

PRIMER:

Before applying her makeup, RHW preps her skin with a glowy primer.

"I've been using a primer from Dr. Barbara Sturm, she did a collaboration with a makeup artist and friend of mine, Monika Blunder, so after I've done my skincare routine I'll apply a little primer on my skin, which gives a lovely glow," she told W.

When it comes to concealer, the model has a few favourites she alternates between.

In a recent interview with her makeup artist, Katie Jane Hughes, Huntington-Whiteley confessed that she couldn't live without NARS' cult-favourite concealer.

The model has also called Clé De Peau's Stick Concealer one of her favourites, along with the YSL Touche Éclat. "I'll go in and get in any of those areas where there's blemishes or impurities or under the eye," she told W.

FOUNDATION:

When it comes to foundation, RHW tends to be a little more light-handed, only providing coverage where necessary. "I love makeup. I don't wear a ton of it, but I will always have a little foundation on," she told Violet Gray.


One of her favourite foundations to use is Chanel's lightweight offering in the Vitalumiere Aqua. "But I'm a big fan of Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua," she said. "It's a really natural foundation, so it just gives me a simple coverage."

If she's after an even lighter coverage, RHW will turn to K-beauty brand Eborian's BB cream, crediting it for giving her complexion a "baby skin effect."

"I like to use my hands because it's quick, it's easy, and I like the way the warmth of your hand kind of diffuses the product in your face in a more natural way and I feel like you can just correct what you're doing much, much easier," she said in an interview.

BRONZER:

We think we could all agree that Huntington-Whiteley nails the bronzed skin look. Not only does she love a bronzed glow on her body, but it's also an integral part to her everyday makeup routine.

One of the model's go-to bronzing products is Chanel's cream-gel bronzer. "I'm always bronzing myself to look healthier, so I apply Soleil Tan de Chanel down my cheekbones, around my temples, and under my jawline," she told InStyle US.


Another of her bronzing favourites is Chanel's Les Beiges bronzing powder. "I absolutely love this bronzer," she said in an interview. "One of my favourite tips I picked up from a makeup artist is to pop a little bit into the socket, it gives you a really natural contour."

Jillian Dempsey Lid Tint Satin Eye Shadow, $38 at REVOLVE

While eyeshadow isn't typically part of her day-to-date makeup look, she has recently started Jillian Dempsey's tints on her lids.

"I don't typically wear eyeshadow in the day, but I've just discovered Jillian Dempsey's Lid Tints, and I am obsessed with them," she said in an interview. "You just tap a little bit in here [on centre of the lid] and it makes my eye colour pop a tiny bit."

ILLUMINATOR:

RMS BEAUTY Magic Luminizer, $55 at MECCA

To amp up her glow, RHW uses a cream illuminator to add a touch of highlight to the highpoints of her face.

"I always apply my highlighter to the top of my cheekbones, a little bit under the brow, on the cupid's bow, and a little bit down the centre of my nose," she said in an interview.
